Rent-A-John (“Rent-A-John,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides portable restroom rentals, dumpster rentals, and related equipment in the Wilmington area and Eastern North Carolina. Information You Give Us
Most of the personal information we collect comes directly from you when you fill out a form on our website.
Get a Free Estimate form. When you request an estimate, we ask for:
- Your name
- Your company name (optional)
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The type of service you need
- The delivery location (optional)
- Your event or project start and end dates (optional)
- An optional message with any other details that help us quote the job
Contact Us form. When you send us a message, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, and a message. Only your email address is required.
Both forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which helps us block spam and automated submissions. Google’s privacy policy and terms of service apply to reCAPTCHA.
When you submit a form, your information is emailed to Rent-A-John staff, kept in our website’s form records, and added to an internal spreadsheet we use to track leads and follow up with you.
SMS / Text Messaging
If you agree to receive text messages from us, we may text you about your estimate and/or your rental.
- Message frequency varies depending on your estimate or rental.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any text from us.
- Reply HELP to any text from us for assistance.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The only exception is the service providers that help us send and deliver our text messages, and they may use your information only to provide that service to us.
Phone Calls
Our website displays phone numbers provided by a call tracking service. These numbers let us see which page or advertisement led you to call us, so we can understand what is working and improve how we reach customers.
Calls to these numbers may be recorded for quality and training purposes. The call tracking service also records basic call details, including the phone number you called from, the time of the call, and how long it lasted.
